440th Security Forces Airmen Receives Air Force Combat Action Medal

12/20/2013 – POPE FIELD, N.C. — Senior Airman Edward Arquette received the Air Force Combat Action Medal at a ceremony held in the Airman’s Readiness Center, Dec. 8.



Lt. Col. Lisa Maloney, 440th Security Forces Squadron commander, presented the medal to Arquette for his active role in combat under direct hostile fire Oct. 24, in connection with military action during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Arquette has been a reservist for more than 5 years and hails from Maui, Hawaii.
