51st SFS Airmen and MWD Respond to Simulated UFS24

A U.S. Airman assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron engages a simulated hostile force during Ulchi Freedom Shield 24, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 22, 2024. U.S. Airmen and military working dog handlers assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron respond to simulated hostile forces during Ulchi Freedom Shield 24, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 22, 2024.  The 51st SFS’s mission is to secure, protect and defend base weapons systems, assets, personnel and resources. MWD handlers operate slightly differently than conventional defenders, however, they provide critical support in ensuring the security and protection of the installation and its assets.
