55th Security Forces members awarded Aerial Achievement Medal

Eight members of the 55th Security Forces Squadron, National Airborne Operation Center security section stand in front of the E-4B March 4, 2020 after being awarded the Aerial Achievement Medal. This is the first time in history of NAOC Security fly-away team have been awarded this honor. The medal recognizes contributions of aircrew members, and awarded in the name of the Secretary of the Air Force. A total of eleven fly away members were awarded this honor, three of the members were unable to attend the ceremony due to last minute support mission. (U.S. Air Force photo by L. Cunningham)
