Medal of Honor recipient Bennie Adkins dies of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major Bennie G. Adkins died Friday, April 17, 2020, after being hospitalized with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  The Vietnam veteran was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2014; information on the award can read at Army.mil by clicking here.

A posting on the Bennie Adkins Foundation Facebook page stated, “We are deeply saddened to notify you that after a courageous battle with COVID-19, Command Sergeant Major Bennie G.
